Team of hygienists

Courtney Baker

Courtney is a Registered Dental Hygienist who strives to provide thorough preventative care to all. She is a Class of 2022 Graduate from Allegany College of Maryland, holding an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene Science. She is passionate about educating patients on the importance of dental care and is committed to ensuring patients are knowledgeable in maintaining optimal oral health. She thrives on helping individuals achieve their brightest smiles through personalized care and advanced hygiene techniques.

Outside of the dental office, Courtney, resides in her home state of West Virginia. Where she lives with her husband, Kyle and daughter, Iris. Along with her two dogs Griffin and Cleo. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Team of Assistants

Kristle Tokach

Kristle brings over 30 years of dental assisting experience to our team, having started her career in 1996. She recently completed her Dental Assisting Diploma from Penn Foster College to further enhance her expertise. Kristle is also an American Heart Association instructor, offering training courses in CPR, BLS, OSHA safety, and First Aid to medical professionals.

Passionate about patient education, Kristle enjoys helping patients understand the importance of good oral health while building lasting, genuine relationships with them. When she’s not working, Kristle loves spending her free time kayaking, hiking, and enjoying the company of her grandkids and cats. Her wealth of experience and caring nature make her an invaluable asset to our practice.

Tina Dennison

Tina brings over 23 years of expertise to our dental team, having begun her career in 2001. She completed her Certified Dental Assistant Expanded Functions course at Medix in Baltimore, Maryland, and is CPR certified with specialized training in OSHA safety protocols. Tina is dedicated to helping patients understand the importance of good oral hygiene and guiding them through their treatment plans with clarity and care.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending quality time with her family and embracing the great outdoors. Whether she’s kayaking, hiking, biking, or simply enjoying nature, her passion for life shines through in everything she does. Tina’s wealth of experience and friendly demeanor make her an invaluable asset to our practice.

Yanira Benitez

Yani, originally from El Salvador, brings warmth and expertise to our dental office. She graduated from the Metropolitan Institute of Health and Technology in 2018 with a degree in dental assisting and furthered her skills by completing her X-ray certification from NOVA in 2019. Her passion for dentistry has been evident ever since.

Known as our office’s “Bilingual Queen,” Yani ensures clear and compassionate communication with all our patients. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a devoted wife and a proud mother of three wonderful children. In her free time, Yanira loves giving back to the community. She enjoys helping at her church and volunteering at her kids’ school activities and events. Yanira’s dedication to her family, faith, and patients makes her an invaluable member of our team.

Support Staff

Gina Helveston

Gina’s career in the dental field covers over 25 years now! She has been our office manager and a great asset to our team at Winchester Dental Studio since 2016. Her experience and knowledge are very well-rounded. She started as a technician in a dental laboratory then decided she wanted to be able to directly help patients so she became a dental assistant. Moving further into her career, she transitioned into a team coordinator and an office manager.

Gina graduated from Penn State in 2014 with a Master’s in Psychology and she is currently working on her 3rd degree. She is married to a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army and has four amazing children. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and camping.

Alexandra Herrera

Lex has been a dedicated professional in the dental field for six years and has proudly served as a key member of the Winchester Dental Studio team for over two years. As our assistant manager, Lex excels in connecting with patients, guiding them through their insurance coverage, and ensuring a smooth understanding of their treatment plans.

Outside the office, Lex’s creativity shines. She enjoys reading, listening to music, and co-writing comic books with her boyfriend. Their home is shared with three beloved cats, adding a touch of feline charm to their lives. Lex’s passion for helping patients and her warm, personable approach make her an invaluable part of our team.

Meghan Halbersma

Meghan H. serves as the patient coordinator at Winchester Dental Studio. With over four years of experience in the dental field, she is dedicated to ensuring patients enjoy the best possible experience. Certified in X-Ray since 2021, Meghan has a versatile background that includes both chair-side assistance and front-office management.

A Winchester native, Meghan studied Photography and Graphic Design at West Coast Baptist College. In her free time, she loves spending quality moments with her husband, two playful dogs, and a cuddly cat. Meghan’s passion for patient care and her warm, approachable nature make her a valued member of our team.

Milo, Therapy Dog

Meet Milo, our sweet and lovable therapy dog, born in 2020. With his calm and gentle nature, Milo is a natural at helping our patients feel at ease during their visit. Whether it’s offering a comforting nudge or simply being there with his warm presence, he’s always ready to bring a smile to your face. Milo’s loving personality makes him the perfect companion to ease any nerves and ensure your experience at our dental office is a pleasant one.
